What will I be doing as a volunteer?
These junior volunteers will assist our patients and their families in non-clinical areas of the hospitals. In addition to serving our outpatients, junior volunteers will meet with and learn from a variety of staff members about related careers. Participants will also learn about non-profit operations and will have the opportunity to engage members of their family, friends in a special fundraising campaign for the patients as Scottish Rite. Please note, this program does not include shadowing opportunities of our clinical staff.
I was accepted and participated in this program before. Can I apply again?
Due to the large volume of applications each year, you can only serve as a junior volunteer ONE TIME. For those wishing to experience a second year, please apply to be a Teen Lead for one of the program weeks. Reminder only former junior volunteers, who are still in high school, are eligible to apply.
